We offer a 100% guarantee. If you are not happy with your product, send it back to us within 14 days of the date of purchase, in the original packaging and we will then be dealt with in accordance with our Return&Refunds policy noted below.

Payment & Pricing

We accept Master and Visa cards payments through our secure webstore and also over the phone. We also accept direct bank deposits/internet banking and cheques.Order paid for cheque will be dispatched upon cheque clearance.
We reserve the right to increase prices or to introduce new prices for our products and services at any time .

Prices

All prices are stated in New Zealand dollars (NZ$),and include Goods and Services Tax( GST).

Freight

Your goods can be collected directly from Urban kids furniture store or sent to you via courier or furniture delivery company (depending on size & weight of items ordered) Freight is calculated depending on the number of items ordered.Furniture items are send via Furniture freight companies and items charged per cubic measurements .

Return & Refunds Policy

We would like our customers to be satisfied with purchases they make with Urban Kids. if you are not satisfied with your purchase we welcome your return or exchange the item(s) within 14 days of the original order date as long as the following criteria are met;
A-Please ensure all items are returned unused.
B-Items has not been assembled in whole or in part.
C-Items in the condition in which it was sent to you,the item is in its original package.
Remember to include your details.We will notify you as soon as we receive the product and will provide you with a credit note to be used within six months.Any courier problems, should be notified within 48 hours of delivery, by email or phone. We will replace or credit any transit breakage. Any replacements are subject to stock availability. No refunds on freight charges.
If you take delivery of an item and the contents are damaged or item is faulty,you should advice Urban Kids by email or phone as soon as possible and always not later than 3 days following receipt by you of the item. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantees Act.

What materials does Cilek use?

Cilek use high quality materials and melamine coated particle board in the production of its furniture. A focus on the health and well being of the child has led Cilek to develop technologies steps ahead of its competitors.

The melamine coating on its furniture is anti-carcinogenic, anti-bacterial and anti-allergenic. It also acts as a scratch resistant surface, so helping to protect the furniture and keep it fresh and new looking for longer.

What about safety standards?

There is no single safety standard for furniture, however, Cilek has put its products forward for testing to voluntary standards, each of which they exceed.

Tempered and strengthened glass are only ever used in mirrors and other glass features. Therefore, if the worse happens and there is an accidental breakage, the risk of injury to a child or adult is substantially reduced.

Is there a warranty?

Urban kids NZ made furniture comes with a 5 year manufacturer's guarantee as testimony to the quality and longevity of our range .This warrranty covers faulty materials and workmanship.Some of our bedroom furniture is branded as and manufactured by Cilek, a leading furniture design and manufacturing company based in Turkey. Cilek is happy to provide a generous 3 Year Warranty against manufacturing defects, however Urban Kids and Cilek warranty does not cover general wear and tear or damage caused by the product not being used in accordance to the safety policy below.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to Urban Kids.When you place an order with us you will be asked to fill out and submit your name, telephone number, mailing address, e-mail address and credit card information.Urban Kids takes responsibility to keep this sensitive information confidential. We would like to ensure you that we will not sell, distribute, or otherwise publish your personal information to any third party. We request email addresses from our clients only to send a confirmation about your purchase and respond to your emails.

We will send you our online newsletter and may notify you of special offers and/ir send you online information that may be of interest to you. if you feel that you do not need to receive these offers you can update your account or emailing us with the word "unsubscribe" in your email.

Safety Policy

Your safety is important to us.
Wherever possible we will endeavour to draw your attention to safety precautions and to flag any relevant issues relating to safety. To this end we provide assembly & safety manuals where applicable.

We must point out that safety, care and maintenance of the items purchased are ultimately the responsibility of the user/owner and that common sense should be applied when enjoying, using and maintaining etc. any items purchased from Urban Kids.

You are strongly advised to read and understand all user manuals contained with the items sold on Urban Kids thoroughly before use.

Stock And Supply

Market conditions outside of our control may affect the supply and cost of pruducts.If some of the items in your order are out of stock we will contact you so you can decide if you want to ship the available items immediately,or wait until all items are in stock and the order can be shipped complete.You will not be charged any extra delivery costs for this.
